Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee issues Resolution on implementing tasks in 2025

Under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, on the morning of December 3, the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference to issue a Resolution on leadership in implementing military, defense and Party building tasks in 2025. Attending and directing the conference was Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region IV.

The conference of the Provincial Military Party Committee focused on two main contents: Evaluating the results of implementing military and defense leadership tasks in 2024, pointing out the strengths, shortcomings, and limitations, on that basis determining the direction of leadership tasks in 2025; evaluating the coordination regulations between the Provincial Military Party Committee and Party committees at all levels, identifying key contents for more effective implementation.

In 2024, despite many difficulties, the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee led and directed the provincial armed forces to successfully and excellently complete many assigned tasks.

Advised and directed 7 districts and towns to complete the drills on defense areas and natural disaster prevention - search and rescue; completed the goal of building a Heroic unit for the provincial armed forces; successfully organized the Emulation Congress to Win the Provincial Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024; effectively performed the tasks of preventing, combating, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue; the quality of training, combat readiness, building discipline, and discipline training had many positive changes; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and Party organizations had many breakthroughs. The Party Committee excellently completed its tasks. As a result, in 2024, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command was proposed to award the emulation flag of the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that in 2024, Nghe An's achievements in implementing socio-economic and national defense tasks were quite comprehensive. The achievements of the provincial armed forces are worth being proud of: both the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command received the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. In 2025, Nghe An will focus on implementing 3 important tasks: "accelerating and breaking through" to achieve the set goals and targets, in which the economy will strive for double-digit growth; successfully organizing and ensuring absolute safety for Party Congresses at all levels; implementing the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus.

Agreeing with the opinions expressed at the conference in evaluating the leadership results and implementation of military and defense tasks in 2024 of the Provincial Military Party Committee; analyzing the reasons for achievements; pointing out the shortcomings and limitations, the Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee basically agreed with the directions, goals, tasks, and leadership measures in the draft Resolution and emphasized some key contents in 2025.

Regarding the implementation of the coordination regulations between the Provincial Military Party Committee and the district, city and town Party Committees in 2025, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized the effective implementation of Resolution No. 1243 of the National Assembly Standing Committee; reviewing the quality of command and management staff of local military commands to prepare personnel for party congresses at all levels and elections of People's Councils at all levels, term 2026 - 2031. Coordinate and organize well the activities to celebrate important national holidays. Effectively deploy projects; thoroughly resolve issues related to national defense land; effectively implement Project 2036 and policies for people with meritorious services and military rear areas.
