Provincial Border Guard Party Committee: Deploying Party and political work in 2025

On December 5, the Party Committee and Command of the Border Guard of Quang Ninh province held a conference to review Party and political work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Colonel Le Xuan Men, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, chaired the conference.

In 2024, the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard has synchronously deployed all aspects of Party and political work. Specifically, the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented resolutions, directives, plans, and instructions from superiors, focusing on the Resolution on leadership in implementing tasks in 2024. The unit has also done a good job of political and ideological education, creating high unity in perception and action; actively protecting the Party's ideological foundation; fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

The Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command have also performed well in the contents of Party building and organization work. Notably, they advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue Resolution No. 23/NQ-TU dated March 3, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee "On strengthening the Party's leadership in the task of building, managing and protecting the national border in Quang Ninh province and building a comprehensively strong Provincial Border Guard force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation"; serving well the meeting and information exchange on the results of implementing the coordination regulations between the Party Committee and Border Guard Command and the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee. Advise the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province to successfully organize a conference to review 5 years of implementing the National Border Defense Day and meet and commend Border Guard officers participating in building a strong border area, period 2019-2024, well organize the contest of Young Propagandists at the provincial Border Guard level in 2024...

At the conference, delegates also focused on discussing and pointing out some remaining shortcomings and limitations, and at the same time approved the work tasks for 2024. That is, to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement resolutions, directives, plans and instructions from superiors. Organize political and legal studies to ensure practicality and effectiveness; promote the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2024 in conjunction with the Campaign to Promote Tradition, Contribute Talent, and Be Worthy of the Title of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the New Era.

Strengthening the work of Party building and organization; focusing on leading, directing and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels in the Provincial Border Guard and the 19th Provincial Border Guard Party Congress towards the 16th Border Guard Party Congress; the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030) and the 14th National Party Congress.

Colonel Le Xuan Men, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Colonel Le Xuan Men, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, suggested that in the coming time, units need to continue to seriously disseminate and concretize the Central and provincial directives and resolutions on Party work and political work tasks in line with the practical situation of the locality and unit.

The Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard also requested that units actively and proactively do a good job of grasping the ideological situation of the troops, protecting internal politics, managing discipline and law, and ensuring safety in all aspects; at the same time, do a good job of propaganda, mobilizing people, effectively implementing models to help people develop socio-economy, build new rural areas. Along with that, maintain the effectiveness of emulation, reward and the "Determination to Win" emulation movement associated with launching peak emulation campaigns, raids to celebrate important holidays and anniversaries of the country, the Army and localities, welcoming Party Congresses at all levels; effectively organize activities to care for people in border areas, sea and island areas on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025...
