Dakrong: 22/22 economic indicators

In 2024, the district's socio-economic situation achieved positive results, with 22/22 socio-economic targets reaching and exceeding the set plan, the total production value is estimated at 1,707,525 billion VND, an increase of 16.14% compared to 2023, reaching 103.45% of the plan. Projects, plans, key and key works are directed resolutely.

Capital mobilization for development investment increased, targets for OCOP products and new rural construction, job creation and labor export exceeded the plan; care for people's lives and social security policies were implemented promptly. Political security and social order and safety continued to be maintained.

At the meeting, delegates discussed, questioned and contributed many important opinions to reports and draft resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the District People's Committee and relevant sectors. At the same time, 10 important resolutions in various fields were voted to be passed.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang emphasized: 2025 is a year of special importance, the year of reaching the 5-year socio-economic goals, the tasks set will be very large, with many difficulties and challenges waiting ahead, so it is recommended that the Dakrong District People's Council review the targets set by the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, see which targets have been achieved and which have not been achieved to have a solution.

Promote the spirit of democracy to effectively implement the 3 target programs currently being implemented in the area. Regarding the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the biggest difficulty at present is the income criterion. It is recommended that the district has more fundamental solutions in economic development and increasing people's income.

Besides, focus on developing culture, education, preserving cultural values, building solidarity, unity, and determination to successfully carry out the set goals and tasks.
