On the morning of February 3, the Provincial People's Committee held a spring meeting to assess the situation before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025.
Attending and chairing the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Tuan Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Comrade Nguyen Tuan Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave a speech at the program.
According to the assessment of the Provincial People's Committee, the whole province organized visits, presented gifts, and wished a happy new year to 334 agencies and units; total cost: 1,281 million VND. At the provincial level alone, 17 provincial delegations were established to visit and present gifts to 46 armed forces units, administrative agencies and 10 outstanding individuals. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the whole province organized visits and presented gifts to 258,252 individuals and households; total implementation cost was 123,451.3 million VND.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Vinh - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the situation before, during and after the Lunar New Year of At Ty.
The province has mobilized resources from socialized sources and used the local budget to care for and give Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households in the province. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the whole province has 60,035 poor and near-poor households/62,085 poor and near-poor households receiving Tet gifts with 70,078 gifts; cost: 30,332 million VND. The whole province supports rice to relieve hunger on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 for 15,880 households, 60,044 people with 900.66 tons of rice;

Enterprises will give bonuses for the 2025 Lunar New Year to about 10,233 employees, with an average of 1.65 million VND/person, the highest is 80 million VND, the lowest is 100,000 VND; the average bonus for the 2025 Lunar New Year is 6.13 million VND/person, the highest is 94 million VND/person, the lowest is 200,000 VND/person; 100% of enterprises will pay January 2025 salaries to employees. 14/15 localities will pay social allowances for January and February before the Lunar New Year to nearly 69,000 beneficiaries, with a budget of 86,298.06 million VND;
Comrade Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave his opinion.
The industry and trade sector coordinates with businesses to stockpile a variety of goods, meeting people's shopping needs, without shortages or price spikes causing market fluctuations. For essential goods in the price stabilization program, through inspection and working with businesses participating in the price stabilization program, businesses have complied with the commitment to ensure essential goods are available at stable prices or 5-10% lower than market prices throughout the Tet holiday.
Comrade Dinh Xuan Dieu - Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board proposed a plan to develop industrial parks in the area.
Total budget revenue by January 31, 2025 is 1,639,358 million VND, reaching 20.86% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government; 18.22% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council; Total revenue from tourism in the whole province during the Lunar New Year 2025 (from January 29 - February 2, 2025, from January 1, 2025 to January 5, 2025 of the Lunar calendar): estimated at 60 billion VND, an increase of 33% over the same period with an average room capacity estimated at 53%; Total number of guests received: estimated at 180,000, up 24.14% over the same period, of which: Domestic guests are estimated at 177,000, up 23.71% over the same period and international guests are estimated at 3,000, up 55.84% over the same period.
Regarding security and order, the authorities have increased patrols and controls, focusing on strictly handling violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents, especially violations of alcohol concentration, speeding, and drug use while driving...
As of February 2, 2025, there were 08 incidents in 07 districts, towns and cities; killing 07 people, injuring 05 people, damaging 12 vehicles (same number of incidents, increasing 02 deaths; decreasing 02 injuries compared to the same period in 2024).
The Traffic Police force patrolled, controlled, detected and handled 1,651 violations, detained 423 vehicles, revoked driving licenses of 55 cases, and fined an estimated 5 billion VND (332 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 497 cases of speeding).
Comrade Luu Van Khoi - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade reported on the implementation of solar power projects.
The agricultural sector organizes the Tet tree planting festival and provides enough water for production; strengthens quarantine and slaughter of livestock and poultry, ensures veterinary safety and food hygiene; deploys effective plans to prevent acts of forest encroachment, illegal exploitation and transportation of forest products; ensures 24/7 duty, warns and promptly handles forest fire situations.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee listened to the leaders of the Department and branches evaluate and discuss key tasks in 2025 such as: Expanding industrial parks, building specialized economic zones; land use planning, implementing wind power projects; mobilizing sponsorship for the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025; building a socio-economic growth scenario; removing difficulties in investment procedures for key projects;
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha requested the Departments and branches to resolutely mobilize resources for socio-economic development, striving to complete the double-digit growth target as required by the Prime Minister; Strengthen coordination between Departments, branches, localities and central agencies located in the area; change the leadership method to keep pace with the era of growth; develop policies to care for the poor coffee producers; focus on developing a project to accelerate and break through the double-digit growth target to submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee; register the groundbreaking ceremony of key projects and prepare well for the program at the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.
