This is one of the cooperation agreements on digital transformation for the 2024-2030 period, signed by HTV with the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) on October 21.

Specifically, in the first phase, the digital television platform provided by VNPT will help HTV deploy television services to the majority of television viewers via the Internet. Synchronize and optimize the storage and transmission of digital content as well as deploy a digital advertising system and distribute digital content on social networking platforms.

The solution developed by VNPT is provided on a cloud computing platform, applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology, big data (BigData), and the latest transmission technology (online video streaming) with low latency and high image quality.

Through this digital television platform, the two sides can exchange and create digital content to provide to television viewers.

Also according to the content of digital transformation cooperation with VNPT, HTV will aim to become a multi-media and multimedia press agency. “Digital transformation is not only an inevitable trend but also an opportunity for HTV to restructure and become a multi-media press agency,” said Mr. Cao Anh Minh, General Director of HTV.

Mr. Minh said that HTV will continue to focus on developing more program content suitable for each audience segment, while improving the quality of human resources to meet the increasing demands of the modern media market.

2030: 90% of radio and television stations go digital

According to Mr. Huynh Quang Liem - General Director of VNPT Group, cooperation in providing digital television systems, content and digital advertising platforms is one of the important strategic cooperation contents between VNPT and HTV.

“Cooperation creates the premise for radio and television stations across the country to promote digital transformation and work towards the 2030 goal set by the Government that by 2030, at least 90% of stations will be digital. radio and television "Digital transformation, operating according to the multimedia agency model," Mr. Liem emphasized.
