Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang registered to sell all of more than 60.12 million HDB shares of Ho Chi Minh City Development Bank ( HDBank ), equivalent to more than 1.71% ownership at HDBank. The transaction time is in April by negotiation. The transaction objective is to solve personal financial needs. Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang is the former General Director of HDBank.

According to the current market price of HDB shares, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang's shares are estimated to be worth over VND 1,300 billion. Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang is currently Chairman of the Board of Members of Vikki Bank (formerly Dong A Bank) after the bank became a 100% subsidiary of HDBank earlier this year. Previously, he held the position of General Director of HDBank from 2010 to March 2020. From March 2020 to the end of 2024, he was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of this bank.

According to HDBank's Management Report, by the end of 2024, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang still owned more than 80.4 million shares, equivalent to 2.74% of the bank's capital. In terms of personal ownership ratio, at that time, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang ranked 3rd among the leaders at HDBank, after Mr. Pham Van Dau - CFO who owned more than 126 million shares, equivalent to 4.3%; female billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of HDBank - was the second person to own more than 108.9 million shares, equivalent to over 3.7% of the bank's capital.

At the end of 2024, HDBank announced that it had achieved pre-tax profit of VND 16,731 billion, an increase of 28.5% compared to 2023 and completed 106% of the plan assigned by shareholders. The consolidated bad debt ratio (according to Circular 11) was low at only 1.48%. HDBank's total assets reached VND 697,281 billion, an increase of 15.8% compared to 2023. Capital mobilization exceeded VND 621,000 billion, an increase of 15.7%, of which deposits from economic organizations and residents increased by 18%... In the past year, HDBank completed dividend payment at a rate of 30%, including 10% in cash and 20% in shares.
