Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to evaluate the progress of construction of resettlement area on Cho Moi Expressway

Delegates view the design drawings of the Resettlement Area at Group 8A and Group 9, Phung Chi Kien Ward, Bac Kan City.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Bac Kan city, the project to build a resettlement area of ​​6.5 hectares is located in Group 8A and Group 9, Phung Chi Kien ward with 127 plots of land to serve the relocation needs of 385 households, of which 115 plots are for households directly affected by the expressway and 12 plots are for households within the clearance area of ​​the resettlement area. In addition, to be proactive in site clearance, the People's Committee of Bac Kan city has arranged 40 plots of land in reserve in Thom Day residential area. Up to now, the detailed construction plan has been approved at a scale of 1/500, and Bac Kan city has also completed the selection of contractors for 5 bidding packages to implement the construction of technical infrastructure and auxiliary works.

At the meeting, the City People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee direct the Departments of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment to consider shortening the appraisal time; provide a special mechanism to shorten the time for publicly posting the compensation and site clearance plan to meet the set schedule; promptly resolve funding for project implementation...

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen requested the Department of Construction to urgently and prioritize the appraisal of the resettlement area leveling project before May 6, 2025 to start construction in June; site clearance for the resettlement area must also be completed before May 13. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the completion of the resettlement area plays a very important role in stabilizing people's lives and serving the site clearance work, ensuring the construction progress of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan expressway project, therefore, Bac Kan city and related departments and branches need to be very urgent with the highest sense of responsibility./.
