Inauguration of traffic bridge in Ban Thach commune

Ong Thiem Canal Bridge is part of the 2025 military-civilian Tet activities to celebrate Chol Chnam Thmay organized by Kien Giang province in Ban Thach commune. The bridge is built of reinforced concrete, 3.5m wide, 21m long; the total investment cost is 250 million VND, contributed by union members and employees of Kien Giang banking industry.

The 2025 military-civilian Tet to celebrate Chol Chnam Thmay is a comprehensive mass mobilization activity, contributing to caring for, improving, and enhancing people's lives, especially the Khmer people. The series of activities includes many tasks such as supporting house building, building rural traffic bridges, repairing and renovating rural traffic roads, building flower roads, etc.
