On September 24, the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects in Da Nang announced a plan to carry out blasting and rock breaking to excavate the final intersection with the Hai Van - Tuy Loan tunnel, part of the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port.

This is the first blasting in the blasting plan for the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port. There are expected to be a total of 40 blasts.

Blasting time is from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on September 25, at the final intersection of the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port (Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district).

During this time, traffic through the blasting site and related residential roads will be temporarily suspended for about 30 minutes.

Traffic Police, construction units and Hai Van Tunnel Traffic Control Center will coordinate to arrange 3 checkpoints to regulate and temporarily stop traffic, ensuring traffic safety during the blasting period.

Checkpoint No. 1 is located at the northern entrance of Hai Van Tunnel. Checkpoint No. 2 is located 30m north of Ta Quang Buu roundabout and Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road. Checkpoint No. 3 is located north of Bridge No. 4 of Nam Hai Van - Tuy Loan road.

The project to invest in the construction of the coastal road connecting Lien Chieu port has a total investment of 1,203 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang. The road is nearly 3km long, 30m wide, and includes 6 lanes. The project started in September 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2025.
