Da Nang announces culinary tour, issues 10,000 culinary passports

In a campaign to promote tourism through cuisine, Da Nang City suggests that tourists visit 400 selected locations. Tourists will receive a culinary passport, the more they eat, the cheaper it is.

According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, Da Nang Food Tour includes many experiential activities.

The digital culinary map will also provide information on specialties; recommend 400 reputable, quality locations specializing in gifts and cuisine.

These recommended locations for tourists are selected based on criteria such as the uniqueness and taste of the food and drinks.

Nutritional criteria, ensuring quality of raw materials; high quality criteria of service, unique experience value.

Food safety criteria; sustainable and environmentally friendly criteria.

In addition, digital maps also provide a lot of information about culinary tourism Da Nang as a culinary passport and how to redeem vouchers; instructions on how to prepare local dishes.

From December 15, 2024 to March 15, 2025, the Da Nang Department of Tourism will issue more than 10,000 culinary passports at reception points, 50 famous culinary locations, and a number of major hotels and tourist attractions.

Accordingly, 150 - 200 culinary passports are issued every day. When customers come to use the services at the locations in the culinary passport, they will collect the stamp of the Da Nang Food Tour campaign.

The stamps will serve as the basis for applying incentives such as complimentary food and discounts when visiting other locations.

In particular, the earliest guests to own a culinary and dining passport will have the opportunity to receive a tour to experience the Aphrodite Son Tra cruise (worth 18.5 million VND) along with a night of relaxation and culinary enjoyment at a luxury hotel.

In addition, visitors will also have the opportunity to own a pair of vouchers to experience paragliding around Son Tra Peninsula with resort tickets and meals at famous restaurants.

When collecting enough stamps of the Da Nang Food Tour campaign, visitors bring their culinary passport to the visitor support center at 18 Hung Vuong, Da Nang to receive gifts.

Visitors can also send photos of the stamped pages to Facebook Danang Fantasticity for comparison and to receive vouchers.
