Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week in Da Nang

Lai Chau province organizes Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2024 in Da Nang city with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks".

On the afternoon of November 22, the People's Committee of Lai Chau province held a conference to promote and advertise Lai Chau tourism in 2024 in Da Nang city. The conference was attended by Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu.

Information at the conference said that Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2024 in Da Nang city with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks" will take place from November 22 to 24 with many exchange activities, cultural and artistic performances (xoe dance, bamboo dance, panpipe dance, traditional handicraft performances...); display, introduce tourism, Ocop products, beautiful photos of Lai Chau tourism.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of Lai Chau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Quang Khang introduced the potential, strengths, natural beauty, mountains and forests, cultural identity and people of Lai Chau; at the same time, he expressed his hope that travel businesses would have more information about destinations and services in Lai Chau to build connecting tour programs and exchange tourist sources between the two localities in the soonest time.

Mr. Khang committed that Lai Chau always creates favorable conditions, supports and shares with travel businesses in the process of building and implementing tour programs and tourism activities in the locality with the goal of "business prosperity - Lai Chau development".

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province, leaders of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang city and the Tourism Associations of the two localities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation.

On the same evening, the opening ceremony of Lai Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks" took place at the park on the northern bank of the Han River Dragon Bridge with the participation of artisans, artists, and extras from community tourism villages in Lai Chau province.
