For the trees that have been cut down and relocated, Da Lat City must plant additional trees and replace them with 740 trees of various types to enhance the environmental landscape. At the same time, the city must publicize information about the project; the necessity of cutting down trees so that people know, as well as collect public opinions as a basis for implementation.

Previously, after studying and evaluating Hoang Van Thu Street, the Da Lat City People's Committee determined that there was always a large volume of traffic and frequent traffic jams. The city proposed a project to expand and upgrade this street with a length of over 1.2km, with a total investment of over 138 billion VND.

According to the Lam Dong Department of Construction, if the project is implemented, the number of trees to be cut down is 148, including 76 three-leaf pine trees, 62 orange-leafed ostrich trees, 10 miscellaneous trees and 52 purple phoenix and cherry trees will be relocated.

The Department believes that the number of trees proposed to be cut down is large and mainly perennial trees, closely related to local characteristics, so information about the projects and the relocation and cutting of trees should be made public so that people can understand and agree.
