Hanoi Medical University has its first female President of the University Council

On the morning of April 3, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan presented the decision to recognize the position of Chairman of the Council of Hanoi Medical University for the 2020-2025 term to Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Thu Huong, former Director of the Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, Ministry of Health.

Ms. Thu Huong replaces her predecessor, Professor, Dr. Ta Thanh Van (continuing to work and be Head of the Department of Biochemistry at Hanoi Medical University).

Sharing with VietNamNet , Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Principal of Hanoi Medical University, said that Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Thu Huong is the second-term Chairwoman of the University Council and also the first female Chairwoman of the University Council.

Thus, in addition to the President of the University Council, Phan Thi Thu Huong, Hanoi Medical University has a Board of Directors consisting of Principal Nguyen Huu Tu and 4 Vice Principals: Associate Professor, Dr. Kim Bao Giang; Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Thi Kim Thanh; Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Tung; Dr. Pham Xuan Thang.
