On the afternoon of November 29, in Buon Ma Thuot City, Emulation Cluster No. 4 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a conference to summarize emulation and reward work in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.
Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tran Thi Thu Thin; leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs of localities in Emulation Cluster No. 4 including: Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Tay Ninh.

The report at the conference said that in 2024, units in Emulation Cluster No. 4 actively and synchronously implemented foreign affairs activities in many fields, bringing specific and practical results to strengthen cooperation connections, promote the image of the country, people and potentials and strengths of localities in the Cluster, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks and goals, maintaining political security and social order and safety.
Units in the Cluster have advised on handling 807 outgoing delegations with 3,789 people; 1,244 incoming delegations with 8,785 people; advised on granting licenses to 157 international conferences for local agencies and units and created conditions for other agencies and units to organize in the province.
In 2024, the entire Cluster received 84 new projects and aid funded by foreign organizations and individuals with a total capital of over 6.1 million USD. In particular, provinces with high projects/total capital include: Dak Lak with 13 projects with a total capital of over 1.6 million USD, Binh Phuoc with 8 projects with a total capital of over 1.4 million USD.

The management of press activities of foreign reporters has received attention and focus. In 2024, the Departments of Foreign Affairs guided and facilitated 23 delegations of foreign reporters and press to operate in localities. The emulation and reward work of the units in the Cluster has had many positive changes, proactively organizing and launching emulation movements, registering for emulation, building programs and plans to organize and implement in order to excellently complete the assigned political tasks. The patriotic emulation movements of the units have been widely launched, with rich and innovative content, closely following reality, linking "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" with the implementation of political tasks in each unit.
At the conference, the units focused on discussing and evaluating the achieved results as well as the difficulties and limitations in the field of foreign affairs in the locality; at the same time, proposing effective solutions in the coming time.

Promoting the achieved results, units in Emulation Cluster No. 4 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs have set out a number of key tasks to be implemented in 2025 such as: actively advising and implementing comprehensive and effective foreign affairs activities in various fields, including: cultural diplomacy, foreign information, overseas Vietnamese affairs, border and territorial affairs, consular affairs, citizen protection, specialized inspection work... with creative and professional approaches, promoting the application of technology and digital transformation; raising awareness of the important role of foreign affairs and international integration associated with the effective implementation of socio-economic development guidelines and policies, and enhancing the attraction of resources for sustainable local development.
In addition, promote and enhance multilateral foreign affairs in localities; advise on the development of foreign affairs plans and programs for 2025; proactively and actively organize many patriotic emulation movements; improve the quality of emulation activities of units in Emulation Cluster No. 4 to ensure effectiveness and practicality; promptly commend typical advanced individuals and collectives for replication in the Cluster; strengthen connections and cooperation with foreign business associations to provide information about the investment environment, investment attraction orientation, and investment promotion activities of the province to foreign investors, calling for investment in key sectors and fields, etc.
