Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 11,611,376 cases, ranking 13th out of 231 countries and territories, while with the rate of cases per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 120th out of 231 countries and territories (on average, there are 117,342 cases per 1 million people).

Data reported daily by the Department of Health of provinces and cities on the Covid-19 Management System of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, Ministry of Health (cdc.kcb.vn) shows that on May 30, 273 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 10,637,927. 63 patients are breathing oxygen, of which 50 cases are breathing oxygen through masks; 7 cases are breathing high-flow oxygen HFNC; 3 cases are on non-invasive ventilators; 3 cases are on invasive ventilators.

No deaths were recorded on May 30. The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of cases.

On May 29, 606 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were injected. Thus, the total number of doses of vaccine injected was 266,408,987 doses. Of which, 223,741,054 doses were injected for people aged 18 and over: 70,909,201 doses for the first dose; 68,455,683 doses for the second dose; 14,344,121 doses for the supplementary dose; 52,133,593 doses for the first booster dose; 17,898,456 doses for the second booster dose.

Vaccinations for children aged 12-17 years old are 23,965,543 doses: 1st dose is 9,130,889 doses; 2nd dose is 9,021,366 doses; 1st booster dose is 5,813,288 doses.

Vaccination for children from 5-11 years old is 18,702,390 doses: 10,227,846 doses for the first dose; 8,474,544 doses for the second dose.
