Ninh Binh Electricity Company Limited organizes the 2024 Skilled Worker Competition

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of Ninh Binh Power Company Limited (May 16, 1992 - May 16, 2024), on May 15-16, Ninh Binh Power Company Limited organized the 2024 Company-level Skilled Worker Competition.

The contest was attended by 34 contestants who are workers from affiliated Power Companies and the High Voltage Grid Operation Management Team, Ninh Binh Power Company Limited.

Candidates will compete in the following occupations: Management of operation of medium and low voltage lines and stations; Management of operation of 110kV transformer stations with 2 parts, including theory and practice. In the theory part, candidates will take a multiple choice test of 50 questions, focusing on specialized knowledge of electrical safety, procedures, regulations and technical expertise.

In the practical exam, candidates will compete directly at the training ground in skills of performing maintenance, repair, installation of equipment and materials; skills in handling situations in operational management. The practical exam time for operating management of medium and low voltage lines and stations is 30 minutes. The practical exam time for managing 110kV transformer stations is 60 minutes.

Direct vocational competition at the training ground on skills to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and materials.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Gia Vien Power Company, 2 second prizes to Nho Quan and Yen Mo Power Companies, 3 third prizes to Kim Son Power Company, Ninh Binh City, Hoa Lu. At the same time, the first, second, third and consolation prizes were awarded to individuals with outstanding achievements in the contest.

The competition is an opportunity for units to exchange and learn experiences in repairing and operating power lines and transformer stations. At the same time, through the competition, the quality of direct labor in the units is assessed, using it as a basis for training, fostering, and coaching to improve labor quality and promote the labor movement to produce productivity, quality, efficiency and safety.

On this occasion, the Northern Power Corporation and Ninh Binh Power Company Limited honored and rewarded 36 workers with the title "Excellent Workers".
