Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Kien Giang province Nguyen Van Mao presented awards and certificates to the first prize winners of the junior high school category.
Kien Giang Library has just concluded and awarded prizes for the 2025 spring drawing contest. After 2 months of launching the contest, the organizing committee received nearly 4,500 works from authors in 3 groups of primary, middle and high schools.
After 4 rounds of judging, the contest had 60 works (20 works in each group) entering the final round. As a result, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes (in each group) to the winning authors.
Trinh Thien Nhu, class 5/4, Duong Dong 1 Primary School, Phu Quoc City won first prize in the primary school category.
The first prize in the primary school category went to Trinh Thien Nhu, class 5/4, Duong Dong 1 Primary School, Phu Quoc City; the first prize in the secondary school category went to Nguyen Thi My Duyen, class 9A3, Nam Thai Son Secondary and High School, Hon Dat District; the first prize in the high school category went to Doan Bach, class 12T3, Giong Rieng High School, Giong Rieng District.
Deputy Director of Kien Giang Library Nguyen Tu Mi - head of the contest organizing committee said that this is the 6th year the library has organized the spring drawing contest, creating a useful playground for contestants to show their talent and painting skills.

With the theme “I draw historical feats” aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Central Highlands campaign and the great victory in the spring of 1975; the contestants’ works were highly appreciated by the jury for their quality and diversity of materials, especially through the contestants’ works expressing gratitude to heroes and martyrs, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, fostering love for the homeland and country for the younger generation...
