Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Board of Members of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV); Nguyen Tien Manh, Deputy General Director of TKV.
In 2024, the company encountered many difficulties in site clearance compensation, leading to a shortage of ore for production. However, with many solutions in production management and technology management, the company has minimized the impact on production and business efficiency.
During the year, the company's converted alumina production output reached 692,500 tons, reaching 106.5% of the plan, equal to 97.2% compared to 2023. The output of alumina after calcination was 644,759 tons, reaching 103.16% of the plan.

Along with production and business, the company continues to promote social responsibility. During the year, the company spent about 19 billion VND to carry out many social security activities in the province.
Typical activities include: building charity houses and schools; installing traffic lights; supporting rent due to lack of resettlement arrangements; supporting people in early handover of land, losses in main crop yields due to early harvests, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, proposed a series of strategic tasks to ensure production efficiency and enhance technological innovation for the company.
Mr. Manh said that despite many difficulties, in 2025, the company needs to set operational goals so that the factory operates at full capacity. The unit needs to review the apparatus, organizational structure, and human resources to be streamlined, effective, and in line with the general direction.
“The company continues to pursue compensation and site clearance to reach a final result. At the same time, it will closely coordinate with local authorities to issue a number of regulations on compensation and site clearance,” Mr. Manh shared.
In particular, the unit must develop a specific plan to manage key consumption indicators and promote study tours and technological innovation for production stages. Digital transformation in the factory operation process needs to be promoted to help improve productivity and product competitiveness.
