Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke said on March 22 that the US-based company Ocean Infinity plans to submit a proposal to the agency to continue searching for the MH370 plane that disappeared 10 years ago.
Specifically, Ocean Infinity's presentation on the plan to search for the missing plane has been scheduled for early May, according to The Star .

"We need to wait and see their proposals, which are the key areas to look at as well as other methods. After that, the ministry will prepare a memorandum to present to the cabinet. We have to ensure the approval of the cabinet before making any decision," he said at a press conference at the Malaysian Transport Ministry headquarters yesterday (March 22).
The minister said he would make every effort to convince the Malaysian Cabinet to sign a contract with Ocean Infinity to restart the search, based on the principle of "no find, no fee".
Previously, Ocean Infinity conducted a search in the Indian Ocean from 2017 to late 2018 using the same principle but without results.
In early March, the Texas-based company also announced that it had found new scientific evidence about the last location of MH370 but did not release any details.
The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was a tragic incident that occurred on March 8, 2014. The Boeing 777-200ER flight was en route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to Beijing, China but disappeared from radar screens less than an hour after takeoff.
The flight carried a total of 239 people, including 227 passengers and 12 crew members.
In addition to Ocean Infinity, another American company, Deep Sea Vision, also wants to join the search for MH370.
