Students prepare to enter the 6th grade entrance exam room at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted in 2022
Accordingly, in the instructions on 6th grade enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted announce recruiting 15 6th grade classes with 525 students. Conditions for application include:
Students who have completed primary school have a final periodic test score of 9 points or higher in each subject of Vietnamese and math in grade 5.
From June 8 to 12, parents can register at the website of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted: www.trandainghia.edu.vn.
After filling in the registration link, the system will send the survey registration form to the email address of the student's parents. Parents download the form, print, sign, and attach a photo of the student (3x4 photo, wearing school uniform).
The school will issue survey participation cards from June 21 to 23. Please remember to bring the survey registration form (response will be sent by the system).
Students take the 6th grade entrance exam on July 4 at the location listed on the exam admission card.

The competency test (90 minutes) includes multiple choice and essay sections. In the multiple choice section, candidates will answer 20 questions in English about their understanding of natural sciences, social sciences and common sense in life within 30 minutes. Essay section: candidates will take 60 minutes, including the following contents: English proficiency test: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing; Math and logical thinking ability test; Reading comprehension and writing ability test. Students will answer this test in Vietnamese.
Normally, every year, about 4,000 students register for the entrance exam and the competition rate for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted is approximately 1/8.
