According to the Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Culture, the producer confirmed that the concert "Anh trai vut ngan chang thorn" is expected to earn about 340 billion VND.
At the conference to summarize the year 2024 and deploy the tasks for 2025 of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector on December 18, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Director of the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts, gave a speech on Culture in the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise: Opportunities - Challenges - Some things that need to be done immediately.
In it, she mentioned the concert Anh trai vu ngan cong gai (The brother who overcomes thousands of obstacles) that took place in Hung Yen on the evening of December 14. As one of the 50,000 audience members, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong highly appreciated an art program with a strong cultural identity.
"I witnessed tens of thousands of audiences coming to the concert Anh trai vu ngan cong gai, they sang cheo, trot quan, Da co hoai lang with the artists... The artists also sang traditional music combined with contemporary folk songs combined with sound, light, fashion... very professionally. The producers said that this program had a revenue of about 340 billion VND. This shows that the combination of tradition and creativity creates a driving force for us. We cannot doubt the development of the cultural industry into a spearhead industry."
However, according to Ms. Thu Phuong, in order to have more "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", "Anh trai say hi", "Chi dep dap gio" or similar programs, the Ministry of Culture and relevant agencies must provide support and incentives for businesses.
According to her, it is necessary to coordinate between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant ministries and sectors to submit to the Government a Decree on corporate income tax incentives, land rent incentives for cultural enterprises as well as investment, sponsorship and donation laws to create conditions to attract investment capital and diverse resources from society for the cultural sector.
Next, policies to support the transformation of public service units providing cultural services and products need to be implemented more strongly than in the previous period.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, investment and support from the State are not only financial resources but also measures to encourage creativity, sponsor artists and create conditions for cultural and artistic talents to maximize their abilities.
Investing in culture is not only for the arts such as painting, music, cinema... but also building an educational foundation, thereby nurturing cultural awareness in each person from a young age.
Incentive policies such as tax reduction for art organizations, creation of creative support funds, investment in building cultural facilities, public art centers... are important measures to help improve the cultural life of society, while creating motivation for artistic creativity to flourish.
Increase investment in culture with a balance in orientation: market-oriented investment and public service subsidy-oriented investment. The State needs to invest in fundamental areas such as strengthening information and training infrastructure, legal support, credit, land and other preferential mechanisms to promote innovation and internal strength in the production and distribution of cultural products and services, promoting the cohesion and mutually beneficial interaction of the cultural ecosystem.
The State needs to pay more attention to and support the public, non-profit cultural service system, as well as cultural forms that are creative and have high artistic and social values.
"In the new era, culture is the driving force for sustainable development of the country. Solutions focusing on conservation, innovation, creativity and cultural integration will help Vietnam not only preserve its national identity but also reach out to the world. These efforts will contribute to building a civilized, unique and creative society, in line with the development trend of the new era," Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong emphasized.
Previously, the concert Anh trai vu ngan cong gia was selected as one of the 10 typical cultural, sports and tourism events in 2024 announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
After the show in Hung Yen, the concert will return to Ho Chi Minh City in March 2025, with all 33 talents expected to participate.
