Real estate stocks increased sharply, VN-Index increased nearly 8 points at the end of the week

NDO - The last trading session of the week, March 7, the market maintained green throughout the trading time and increased in the afternoon session thanks to the dominant demand, stocks of real estate, banking, telecommunications... and large codes such as VIC, VCB, VHM, CTG, BID, MBB... increased strongly, helping VN-Index increase 7.83 points at the end of the session, to 1,326.05 points.


Market liquidity decreased compared to the previous session but remained at a fairly high level, with the total trading volume of the three floors reaching more than 1,106.11 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND 22,947.88 billion.

After yesterday's net buying session, foreign investors returned to net selling more than 235.47 billion VND this session, focusing on the codes FPT (more than 104 billion VND), MSN (more than 79 billion VND), DGC (more than 51 billion VND), VNM (more than 36 billion VND), BID (more than 35 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included VIC (over 95 billion VND), HPG (over 84 billion VND), MWG (over 69 billion VND), TCH (over 57 billion VND), CTG (over 44 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 19,535.42 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increased by more than 9.54 points include: VIC, VCB, VHM, CTG, BID, MBB, HDB, ACB, MSB, VRE.

On the contrary, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 1.93 points included: GVR, GAS, EIB, PLX, BVH, HVN, VTP, LPB, VNM, CHP.

In terms of industry groups, this session, real estate stocks performed positively, increasing sharply by 2.00%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, VRE, SSH, NVL, PDR, NLG, KSF, DIG, TCH, KOS, CEO... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included BCM, KBC, SIP, IDC, VPI, SNZ, SJS, SZC...

Energy stocks increased slightly by 0.20%, mainly from TMB, CLM, PSB, MGC... Declining stocks included PVS, POS, AAH, NBC...

The group of raw material stocks had a mixed performance, down 0.70%, mainly from codes GVR, KSV, MSR, VGC, HSG, BMP, CSV, HT1... On the contrary, the codes that increased included HPG, DGC, DCM, DPM, NTP, PHR, VIF, TVN...

The retail stock group also had differentiation, down 0.35%, mainly from PLX, DGW, OIL, PET, HTM, CTF, CLX... Increasing codes include PNJ, FRT, SAS, VFG, HHS, TLP, HAX...

Banking stocks were filled with green, with another strong increase of 1.00%, mainly from VCB, BID, CTG, TCB, VPB, MBB, ACB, HDB, STB, SSB, TPB, MSB... There were a few stocks that decreased including LPB, EIB...

The securities group had a mixed performance and a slight increase of 0.06%, mainly from VCI, MBS, SHS, VDS, TVS, AAS... Declining codes included HCM, VND, FTS, BSI, CTS, ORS, BVS, DSC...

Software stocks also performed quite negatively, with a decrease of 0.16%, mainly from two codes FPT and CMG.

Insurance stocks had a negative performance this session, down 0.85%, mainly from codes BVH, VNR, MIG, PTI... Some codes increased including PVI, BIC, ABI...

* The Vietnamese stock market index today maintained its upward momentum throughout the trading session, VNXALL-Index closed up 9.86 points (+0.45%), at 2,207.45 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 921.38 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 21,150.65 billion. In the whole market, there were 180 stocks increasing in price, 100 stocks remaining unchanged and 189 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 238.41 points, up 0.40 points (+0.17). Liquidity reached a total of more than 80.06 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,380.98 billion. In the whole market, there were 79 stocks increasing in price, 69 stocks remaining unchanged and 87 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed up 1.74 points (+0.35%) to 502.01 points. Trading volume reached over 47.44 million units, equivalent to over VND961.61 billion. In the whole market, there were 14 stocks increasing in price, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 8 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 99.08 points, down 0.27 points (-0.27%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 66.83 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 626.91 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 203 stocks increasing in price, 111 stocks remaining unchanged and 181 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 7.83 points (+0.59%), to 1,326.05 points. Liquidity reached over 957.52 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND20,794.80 billion. The entire floor had 271 stocks increasing, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 185 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 10.15 points (+0.74%) to 1,389.77 points. Liquidity reached more than 345.15 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND10,536.63. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 10 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are MBB (over 47.41 million units), VIX (over 40.17 million units), BCG (over 35.90 million units), HPG (over 33.13 million units), MSB (over 27.76 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase were L10 (+6.99%), VIC (+6.97%), PNC (+6.94%), SRC (+6.92%), TDW (+6.25%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were CHP (-6.98%), YBM (-6.91%), BBC (-6.89%), PSH (-6.85%), TIX (-5.85%).

* Today's derivatives market had 179,003 contracts traded, worth more than VND 24,677.72 billion.
