Tu Anh said that Bo Y women are very good at embroidery, sewing and remind each other to preserve the traditional beauty of their people. Therefore, Bo Y people, young and old, all have their own traditional costume to wear during holidays and in daily life.
The Quintessence of Vietnam contest fosters love for traditional culture
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association - said that educating revolutionary ideals and patriotism is one of the key tasks that the Youth Union has implemented in this term. One of the solutions to implement this work is to apply digital transformation platforms and modern social networks suitable to the needs and tastes of union members, youth, and students.
Starting from this wish, the Central Youth Union launched the Vietnam Quintessence contest, attracting a large number of contestants, with the number increasing year after year and many works of high quality.
The contest aims to create a playground for union members, students and pupils to foster and develop understanding and affection for traditional cultural values of the nation, thereby raising awareness and responsibility in preserving, promoting and maintaining national cultural identity.
This year's contest had more than 11,000 video clips sent by contestants from 67 provinces, cities, and affiliated unions (an increase of more than 9,300 works compared to the first time).
There are many outstanding works introducing the beauty of national culture, traditional Vietnamese identity, introducing the beauty of scenic spots, Vietnamese cuisine, costumes, traditional musical instruments of the nation...
Mr. Triet shared that the above results show that the contest has created attraction and spread among union members, youth, students with many positive messages and beautiful images of love for the homeland and the cultural values of the Vietnamese people.
