According to information from E Hospital, at the end of this morning, December 19, the Board of Directors of E Hospital and experts in the field of resuscitation and anti-poisoning held a consultation and found that due to the complexity and characteristics of the development of the injury, the risk of it continuing to develop in an unfavorable direction in the following days, which could happen very quickly and suddenly, requiring monitoring by specialized and specific means, so the doctors agreed to transfer the 4 victims of the cafe fire to the Intensive Care Center and the Anti-Poison Center, Bach Mai Hospital for continued treatment.
Also according to E Hospital, this morning, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh visited and encouraged the fire victims being treated at E Hospital.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and Hanoi leaders hope that patients under treatment will remain calm and follow the doctors' treatment regimen; and request that E Hospital gather the best equipment and experienced doctors to actively treat the victims.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee directed the Party Committee, authorities and Fatherland Front of Bac Tu Liem district to continue to closely monitor the lives of the victims; promptly care for, encourage and support both materially and spiritually, helping the victims quickly stabilize their lives.
This morning, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan visited E Hospital to visit and encourage the victims and directed E Hospital to coordinate with experts from related leading hospitals to consult, discuss and agree on expertise, and report to the Ministry of Health on the treatment process, developments, and transfer plans.
In case of transferring patients to a specialized hospital, regardless of the medical facility, the best treatment for patients must be ensured, and the patient's health must be put first.
