Kinhtedothi - It is expected that on the evening of March 5, the Hanoi Labor Federation will organize a program to honor typical examples of the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2024 and a special art program to honor outstanding female cadres and union members of the Capital Trade Union in 2025.
According to the Hanoi Confederation of Labor (VLF), on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8) and the 1985 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising; honoring typical examples in the emulation movement "Good at national work, good at housework" in 2024, on the evening of March 5 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace, the Hanoi Confederation of Labor organized a program to honor typical examples in the emulation movement "Good at national work, good at housework" in 2024 and a special art program to honor outstanding female union members of the Capital in 2025.
In recent times, the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" has promoted the role and great potential of female union members and workers in the process of innovation, family building, contributing to socio-economic development and achieving gender equality goals.
Through the implementation of the movement, the Trade Union has partly effectively implemented the Party's policy of innovation on women's work in the new situation, continuing to affirm the role and position of female union members and workers in the new era; building Vietnamese women who are patriotic, knowledgeable, healthy, dynamic and creative, have a cultural lifestyle, are kind-hearted, care about social and community interests, and are determined to both excellently complete their professional tasks and build a "warm, progressive, happy, civilized" family, build cultural agencies and units, and build a civilized, modern, and cultural capital.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation will present commendations and awards from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the City Labor Federation, and Trade Unions at all levels to typical collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2024. At the same time, the City Labor Federation will also present subsidies to female union members in difficult circumstances.
In particular, a special art program with performances by popular singers such as: Soobin Hoang Son, Lan Nha, Giang Hong Ngoc, Thuy Dung... aims to honor outstanding female union members of the Capital Trade Union in 2025 with special lyrical songs sent to female union members as meaningful gifts to provide practical and effective care; encourage and motivate female union members with outstanding achievements in work, production and union activities.
The program was attended by more than 1,000 delegates, including collectives and individuals who were awarded in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" in 2024; female Chairmen of grassroots trade unions, female officials and union members of the Capital Trade Union with outstanding achievements in work, labor, production and trade union activities.
The City Labor Federation hopes that through the program, it will motivate female union officials and members to continue to make better contributions and dedication in the coming time; at the same time, it will arouse pride in the glorious tradition and good qualities of Vietnamese women and women in Hanoi; and promote the role and position of female union officials and members in the Capital during the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country, entering a new era, the era of national development.
