Road to Olympia 2023 Final: Who is the owner of 1.2 billion VND?

(Dan Tri) - Four male students from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien - Hue provinces officially entered the competition to win the championship of Road to Olympia 2023.

8:30 a.m. October 8, the final match of Road to Olympia 2023 officially kicked off.

The laurel wreath winner this year will receive a prize of 50,000 USD (more than 1.2 billion VND), 10,000 USD higher than last year. The second prize winner will receive 200 million VND, and the two third prize winners will receive 100 million VND. This is the highest prize ever awarded by the Road to Olympia.

Participating in this competition are 4 male students: Nguyen Viet Thanh (Soc Son High School, Hanoi), Nguyen Minh Triet (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien Hue), Le Xuan Manh (Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa) and Nguyen Trong Thanh (Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong).

Viet Thanh was the champion of the first quarter. The Hanoi student's score gradually increased after each round and peaked at 325 points. He was the only contestant out of the four finalists to correctly answer the keywords of the Obstacle Course in all three weekly, monthly and quarterly matches.

Viet Thanh is the second student from Soc Son High School, Hanoi to participate in the final round of Road to Olympia. The first person to do so was Ha Viet Hoang, in 2017.

Nguyen Minh Triet was the champion of the second quarter. The male student majoring in Physics from Hue reached the peak of 330 points in the weekly round.

Minh Triet's advantage is knowledge in the social, sports and arts fields. On the contrary, his weakness is knowledge of chemistry.

Minh Triet is the 6th student from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien - Hue, to participate in the final round. Previously, this school had two champions and two runners-up of the Road to Olympia.

Le Xuan Manh was the champion of the third quarter. The Thanh Hoa male student reached the peak of 345 points in the weekly round. He was the contestant with the highest weekly score and the lowest quarterly score among the four contestants.

Xuan Manh is the 8th student from Thanh Hoa to enter the final round of Road to Olympia and the first student from Ham Rong High School to participate in this playground.

Nguyen Trong Thanh was the champion of the fourth quarter. The English major student from Hai Phong reached the peak of 330 points in the quarter round, and was also the one with the highest score among the four finalists.

Viet Thanh is the fourth student from Hai Phong to enter the final round of Road to Olympia. His advantage is his knowledge of history, society and English questions.
