Component 1 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Phase 1 is about 16 km long. The starting point intersects with Vo Nguyen Giap Street (in Phuoc Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City), the ending point is in Long An Commune (Long Thanh District).
According to the design, the initial scale of the road has 4 lanes, 24.75m wide. The completed phase will have 6 lanes, 32.25m wide, design speed 100km/h. The project is expected to be completed in 2025 and put into synchronous operation in 2026.
The working delegation of the National Assembly Economic Committee conducted a field survey of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project in May 2022.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project has a total length of 53.7km, passing through the two provinces of Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. Of which, the section passing through Dong Nai province is over 34km long, with a total investment of over VND 12,600 billion, of which compensation and site clearance costs are approximately over VND 5,200 billion. The project has a scale of 4 - 6 lanes, with a total investment of nearly VND 18,000 billion from public investment capital.
The project is proposed by the Government to be divided into 3 component projects, component 1 will start construction in 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2025.
