- Don't tell my mom. She didn't let me borrow it, but I wanted to go so I secretly took the key and tried it out - Nam mumbled.
The grandmother and grandson asked someone to take them home and bandage their wounds. That was when Hieu brought the motorbike with its broken headlight and broken fender home. Afraid that his father would beat him, Nam pressed close to his grandmother. Seeing this, Hieu spoke sternly.
- Why did you take my motorbike without a license? You don't have a driver's license and you're speeding.
- I know I was wrong, Dad. It was because I was curious and wanted to see what it was like to ride a motorbike - Nam sobbed and told his father.
Seeing the father and son scolding each other, Mrs. Hoa said softly: "He knows his mistake, luckily he only suffered minor scratches. When I heard Mrs. Hong come in to report that he had an accident, my legs went weak. You two need to be closely monitored, children under age are not allowed to ride motorbikes. This morning, I read in the newspaper that in the first half of July, many parents in our district were fined for giving motorbikes to their underage children."
- I know. When I get home from work this afternoon, I will remind my family and teach Nam more so that he understands that he is not old enough to ride a motorbike on his own, that is breaking the law - Mr. Hieu said.
