On the afternoon of August 15, on the occasion of leading the Inspection Delegation of the Party Central Committee Secretariat to work with the Standing Committee of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien visited and worked with officials and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province.

Also visiting and working were Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy and Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Dong Hai.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province Vu Thanh Van said that with the attention of local Party committees and authorities, the provincial Fatherland Front agency now has spacious facilities and working equipment that meet the requirements of the task. The Front system in the province, in addition to the provincial level, also includes 8 districts, cities, 260 communes, wards and towns, and 1,797 Front Working Committees in residential areas. The provincial Fatherland Front Committee has 75 members, the district level has 65 members, and the commune level has 35 members. The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province no longer implements the mechanism of the Head of the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee concurrently holding the position of Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee at the same level.

Regarding professional work, Mr. Vu Thanh Van said that currently, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province is focusing on thoroughly grasping and implementing Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on "Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy".

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province coordinated to present gifts to 300 Dien Bien soldiers in the province, and advised the province to organize a solemn, warm and affectionate meeting with Dien Bien Phu soldiers. Every year, 100% of residential areas in the province maintain the organization of the National Great Unity Day, many residential areas organized a great unity meal. During the recent Lunar New Year, from the province's budget, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province did a good job of giving gifts to poor households in the whole province.

The work of social supervision and criticism is focused on by the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province, increasingly improving its quality and efficiency; receiving attention from the provincial budget, with funding allocated for implementation at all three levels of the Front.

The work of uniting religions has always been of interest and importance to the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province. The whole province currently has 887 pagodas, 345 parishes and parishes. Religious activities in the province take place normally and in accordance with the law. To effectively carry out the work of uniting religions, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province maintains and improves the quality of the movements "4 exemplary pagodas", "4 exemplary parishes and parishes". Every year, there are preliminary and final summaries and expansions of these movements.

In particular, recently, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has focused on coordinating with relevant agencies of the province to focus on implementing the Program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households launched by the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. With nearly 2,000 dilapidated houses eligible for elimination, and the ability to mobilize resources, Thai Binh province is confident that it will complete the elimination support goal by 2026, of which 30% will be eliminated in 2024, 60% in 2025, and 10% in 2026.

In the coming time, in addition to implementing the directions of the Central Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will focus on implementing the Program to support the elimination of dilapidated houses according to the goals and plans. Advise on the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels and elections of People's Councils at all levels. Focus on building and replicating the model of "Self-governed, safe, prosperous and happy residential areas" in the province.

Talking to the cadres and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien expressed his joy when knowing that the cadres and civil servants of the agency all have extensive working experience, are arranged from many different sources, and the agency's facilities ensure to meet the requirements of the work. According to the Chairman, doing Front work is very hard but it is a noble task. The Fatherland Front organization is trusted and loved by the Party; the people love it, so the cadres doing Front work need to try hard, overcome difficulties to perform their roles and tasks well.

Chairman Do Van Chien noted that among the many current tasks of the Front's work, participating in the implementation of the Program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households is of particular importance. The Chairman requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province pay special attention to the implementation, focusing on mobilizing and calling for resources to complete the support; the province strives to complete the support to eliminate nearly 2,000 dilapidated houses in 2025, because this is a year with many major national holidays, including the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, completing the goal in 2025 will be very meaningful.

Highly appreciating the model of building "4 model pagodas" and "4 model parishes" built and launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh to unite and gather local religious people, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province focus on improving the quality and replicating these models; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will select typical models in Thai Binh to replicate across the country. The Chairman also highly appreciated the model of "Self-governed, safe, prosperous and happy residential areas" that the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh province is implementing, suggesting that the province focus on improving the quality and replicating.
