Picking up the bride with an excavator: Thought it was a joke, but the son-in-law actually did it
Recently, a clip recording a wedding procession of 7 excavators traveling on the road caught the attention of netizens, who were excited and liked it.
The owner of the clip is Mr. Do Hong Son (whose job is to work on construction machines). He said that excavators are his passion. He has been in the profession for quite a while so he wanted to do something impressive.
To prepare for the wedding, he prepared 2 excavators at home and borrowed 5 excavators from neighbors to help pick up the bride.
Hearing Son's plan, his friends were all excited and wanted to contribute without any objection when he said he wanted to pick up his bride by excavator. Son's parents reminded their son to pay attention to safety and not to affect traffic.

"At first, my wife didn't like it and was a bit upset. But after the clip got a lot of attention, she was very happy," Son smiled and confided to Tuoi Tre Online.
Two days before the wedding, Mr. Son and his brothers "washed" the excavators clean, lowered and hung pink balloons symbolizing love on the car. Not to mention, he also attached the word "double happiness". The license plate and both sides were decorated with glitter string to make it look more beautiful. He revealed that none of his friends had ever done this idea before, so everyone was excited, looking forward to the wedding day soon.

At around 8am on April 10, a convoy of 7 large excavators departed from Mr. Son's groom's house in An Khanh commune, Dai Tu district to the bride's house in Phuc Ha commune, Thai Nguyen city, surprising passersby and officials from both families.
In the wedding car, the happy groom took a satisfied "selfie" clip with the bride and the excavators following behind.
He said that excavators have been his passion for 10 years. At that time, he had just met his bride.
"At that time, my wife was in 9th grade, and I was in high school, studying to enter the mechanical industry. She supported me a lot. My decision to get married also came from wanting to make an impression on my wife," he continued.

It is known that the famous floating excavator fleet was driven by colleagues to follow the wedding car, without carrying any more people or gifts because of the small space in the cockpit. Mr. Son said that at first he planned to drive the excavator himself to pick up his wife, but it was raining, he was afraid that his wife would have difficulty moving and her pure white wedding dress would get dirty, so he decided that the bride and groom would go by car.
Bride Duong Thi Lien happily shared: "My guests loved it. Everyone was very happy. Many even asked to take souvenir photos."
In the comments section, many people shared that they were excited about the above wedding idea. An account named Hai Dang shared: "There is nothing more wonderful than picking up the bride with a car that is associated with passion and career. Wishing you two happiness."
