Today (November 10), Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) Ho Chi Minh City branch held an award ceremony for two winners of Jackpot 1 and Jackpot 2 in the 951st drawing of Power 6/55 lottery with values of over 173 billion VND and over 3.7 billion VND respectively. Thus, the total value of these two prizes is over 176.7 billion VND.
The person awarded the prize worth more than 173 billion VND is Mr. LHL. Mr. TQH received the Jackpot 2 prize worth more than 3.7 billion VND.
According to regulations, Mr. L and Mr. H are obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of ticket issuance with a total value of 17.6 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and will be deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
Thus, Mr. L will receive nearly 156 billion VND after deducting 10% personal income tax. Meanwhile, Mr. H. will receive a net income of more than 3.3 billion VND after deducting tax.
Mr. L and Mr. H both bought tickets directly at Vietlott transaction points in Ho Chi Minh City. As a result, both of them won the Jackpot prize in the 951st draw of the Power 6/55 product which took place on the evening of October 31.
Mr. L's Jackpot 1 winning ticket has 6 pairs of numbers: 10 - 16 - 17 - 28 - 37 - 42. Mr. H's Jackpot 2 winning ticket has 5 pairs of numbers that match 5 of the 6 pairs of numbers in the Jackpot 1 result and 1 pair of numbers that matches the special number 43.
At the award ceremony, Mr. L donated 2.3 billion VND for social security activities.
Mr. L shared that he will use part of the bonus to invest in real estate and deposit in the bank; part of the bonus to take care of his siblings and part of the bonus to carry out social security work.
Mr. H works as a transporter, with an average income of about 12-15 million/month.
When asked about how he plans to use the bonus, Mr. H said that this is a large sum of money for his family, so he and his wife will consider carefully to invest it to ensure their future life.
