According to the schedule, the U.20 Vietnam team will play the opening match of the 2025 U.20 Asian qualifiers against U.20 Bhutan at 7:00 p.m. on September 23. Next, U.20 Vietnam will face U.20 Guam (at 7:00 p.m. on September 25), U.20 Bangladesh (at 7:00 p.m. on September 27) and U.20 Syria (at 7:00 p.m. on September 29).

To prepare for the 2025 U.20 Asian qualifiers, the U.20 Vietnam team gathered on August 15 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. After that, the team had a training trip to Japan from August 23 to September 1, and most recently played a friendly match with the U.20 Russia team. "The coaching staff was forced to make changes to the training plan, in the context of the impact of storms. However, the goal of U.20 Vietnam remains unchanged.
