According to Mr. Nam, raising ducks is not a strange thing, however, applying high technology to bring efficiency requires investment, learning experience and creating a sustainable value chain from input supply to output consumption.
Mr. Nam started raising ducks in September 2022. The application of high technology was applied by the owner of this duck farm right from the high-standard barn.

Duck coops are all installed with HDPE plastic floors, designed about 90cm above the ground so that the ducks can stay on a high, airy, clean floor; automatic feeding and drinking troughs and a cooling system, which can adjust the coop temperature according to each stage of growth and development of the duck flock.
Mr. Nam said that compared to traditional duck farming, high-tech duck farming requires relatively large capital, technical requirements, and a systematic infrastructure system.

"Using high technology, I can easily manage breeds, food quantity, disease prevention process. Ducks raised in a safe, clean environment grow quickly, evenly and ensure meat quality," said Mr. Nam.
With the high-tech model, each batch of Nam's ducks will reach over 3kg after 45 days. After 1 year, Nam's high-tech duck farm has sold 6 batches of ducks, the most recent batch was over 15,000 ducks, minus expenses for a profit of over 800 million VND.
