According to Plan No. 137/KH-TLĐ on organizing the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), the market will have booths providing essential goods and services at preferential prices, ensuring quality and zero-dong booths; giving gifts to trade union members, workers in difficult circumstances, low income, with outstanding achievements in production and business and participating in trade union activities; cultural, artistic, sports activities, folk games...; legal advice, health advice, free medicine... for trade union members, workers; other activities suitable to actual conditions.

To welcome the Lunar New Year, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize the opening session of the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market program at the Hai Phong City Labor Federation; launch the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market program online, with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, General Confederation, local Party committees and authorities, businesses and a large number of union members and workers. The opening ceremony of the program is expected to take place in mid-December of the year of the Dragon.

In other units and localities, the Trade Union Tet Market will take place from January 1, 2025 to January 22, 2025 (ie from December 2 to 23, the year of the Dragon); each program will be held for a minimum of 2 days or more.

Depending on conditions and capabilities, the Labor Federations of provinces and cities, the Central and equivalent Trade Unions, and the Trade Unions of Corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market program in localities and units to ensure suitability, meaning, savings, and focus resources on caring for union members and workers.

Every union member and worker has Tet

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market aims to mobilize the participation and cooperation of Party committees, authorities, employers and the whole society to increasingly better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; bring quality products, goods and services of domestic enterprises and units to a large number of union members and workers.

This program also contributes to raising awareness and creating connections between trade unions, businesses and local authorities in caring for union members and workers.

At the same time, the program brings quality products, goods and services of domestic enterprises and units to a large number of union members and workers in the spirit of Directive No. 03-CT/TU of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation; helping union members and workers have the opportunity to access goods with guaranteed quality and preferential prices. Creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of all levels of the Union in performing well its functions and tasks, especially proposing new and effective methods and ways to take care of the welfare of union members and workers.

The 2025 Trade Union Tet Market is an activity within the framework of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party", deployed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor nationwide with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, after 10 years of implementing the program "Tet Sum vay - Xuan ung Dang", by early 2024, more than 168,000 Tet Sum vay programs were organized at all levels of trade unions with more than 29 million union members and workers participating, with a total cost of more than 17,000 billion VND.
