On February 16, in Hanoi, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held the first ceremony to honor 95 exemplary workers who are Party members in 2025 with the theme "Bright examples of pioneering workers".

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the 95 exemplary workers and party members represent nearly 12 million union members and nearly 18 million workers nationwide.

In his opening speech, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said that the commendation conference is a practical activity to celebrate 95 springs of our Party accompanying the nation; affirming the role and responsibility of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union in participating in Party building, with one heart, one mind, steadfastly moving forward under the glorious flag of the Party.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, the 95 exemplary workers who are honored as party members were carefully and rigorously selected through many rounds and levels; present in most industries, localities and in many types of enterprises. The average age of the delegates is 12 years, the oldest is 60, the youngest is 31 years old. These are all direct production workers, dynamic, creative, with many technical innovation initiatives, noble ideals, constantly practicing ethics - working style, exemplary leaders in all fields, trusted by the masses, and admired by colleagues. They are shining examples for union members and workers nationwide to learn and follow, creating motivation and inspiration for many workers to strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that the commended examples will not be satisfied with the results they have achieved, but will continue to strive to maintain the title of exemplary party members and workers, spread their achievements and experiences, and encourage union members and workers to strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In his speech, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the initiative of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize this meaningful and practical activity. Thereby, it affirms the responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system.
On behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front, the National Assembly Chairman warmly commended, congratulated, acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results that the Trade Union organization, Party members, union members and workers have achieved in the past time, especially the 95 commended Party members. The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the 95 typical examples will continue to strive, spread their experiences, the spirit of innovation and creativity to become propagandists, strongly inspiring to motivate union members and workers to strive and become Party members.

Emphasizing that entering a new stage of development for the country, an era of national growth, requires high-quality human resources, including a new-age workforce that is truly both red and professional, the National Assembly Chairman said that trade unions at all levels and trade union officials, union members, and workers, especially workers who are party members, need to promote their pioneering and exemplary roles, improve their political mettle, professional qualifications, vocational skills, industrial style, and labor discipline, and strive to compete and strive to contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of our country.
In particular, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, union officials, union members, and workers need to spread positive spirit, aspiration to rise up, belief, new determination, and new momentum among all workers and laborers.
