With the message "New Generation - Adaptation - Connection and Sharing", the 2024 Youth Festival was assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to be implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

The festival takes place over three days (March 22 to 24) in the Youth Cultural House and Pham Ngoc Thach Street (from Nguyen Van Chiem to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai), District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Many spaces to experience

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai said that the Youth Festival has become one of the festivals directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

This 4th festival has many new features, promising to be a useful playground for young people to celebrate the Union's birthday on March 26 and towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification on April 30.

The festival kicked off on the evening of March 22 with a program celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Union, scheduled to be broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh City Television. There will be street art performances, international exchanges and a national cultural playground.

The evening of March 23 will be the program responding to the Earth Hour 2024 campaign, launching people, youth to live green, protect the environment from 8pm - 10pm. There will be a program to award young talent sponsorship in 2024, performances by famous artists and singers, and street music exchanges.

The art program "New Generation - Adaptation - Connection and Sharing" closing the festival took place from 7:00 p.m. on March 24 with performances and exchanges from domestic and international music groups.

There will also be performances, exchanges and honors of famous singers and artists. Closing ceremony and announcement of the 2025 Youth Festival "Welcome to the 50th anniversary of the city".

Screening of Dao, Pho and Piano for young people

Throughout the festival, there are many contents and spaces: Light route, Youth culture and international exchange, Youth art - creativity, Music - connection, Culinary culture, Reading culture...

Along with screenings of films about history and tradition, the organizers said they will screen Dao, Pho and Piano for young people. It is expected that some KOLs from various fields will attend, spreading the message to the community.

New generation technology experience spaces, sharing - connection and seminars, sharing topics on culture, skills, new technology trends and experiences of experts in selectively applying technology to life.

The festival organizers said that up to now, five international youth delegations from the Russian Federation, Laos and Malaysia have accepted invitations to attend the festival.
