VHO - Within the framework of the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF VII), on the morning of November 7 at the National Cinema Center (Hanoi), the Vietnam Film Institute opened the exhibition "Vietnam's heritages recognized by UNESCO - Experience through cinema footage".
The exhibition introduces images of Vietnam's heritages recognized by UNESCO, including tangible cultural heritages, intangible cultural heritages, documentary heritages, world biosphere reserves, etc.
The event not only serves the public's need to enjoy art but also contributes to raising awareness of the value of cultural heritage, promoting Vietnam's tourism industry and celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi Capital.
At the same time, promoting Vietnamese tourism and Vietnamese cinema aims to attract investors and world film producers to Vietnam, contributing to expanding the Vietnamese cinema market to the world, integrating into the international cinema market.
Hundreds of images at the exhibition are not only an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnam but also an occasion to honor tangible and intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese film industry.
Here, viewers have the opportunity to admire nearly 200 photos from film footage made by domestic and international filmmakers.
These are images introducing Vietnam's Heritages recognized by UNESCO. The image of a beautiful, hospitable Vietnam with many famous landscapes has been portrayed in an attractive and vivid way through the lens of filmmakers, thereby contributing to promoting tourism, bringing the image of the country and people of Vietnam closer to a large number of domestic and international viewers.
Photos taken by professional photographers, with about 40-50 outstanding works, including photos of Vietnam's heritages and Hanoi city, especially Hanoi - City for Peace, are also an attractive content at the exhibition.
These works are provided by the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, with contributions from talented photographers, providing deep and emotional perspectives on Vietnamese culture and people.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be attended by directors, screenwriters, filmmakers, photographers and a large number of domestic and international film lovers.
