On the evening of December 23, Korean music group Tempest held a meeting with Vietnamese media on the occasion of performing at the Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival.
In particular, the appearance of Hanbin (Ngo Ngoc Hung) - a Vietnamese member of the group - became the center of attention. This is the first time Hanbin has come to Ho Chi Minh City, and also the first time he has returned to Vietnam as a member of a Kpop group after debuting in Korea in February 2022.

Sharing with the press, Hanbin said he was happy and excited when he and Tempest arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. Previously, Hanbin had introduced and promoted Vietnamese culture to the group members many times. After landing on December 22, the male singer led Tempest to explore the cuisine, culture and have interesting experiences.
"I want to show off to my teammates that Vietnam is so beautiful. I am proud of Vietnamese cuisine. When I come back here, I want to take the members to eat the best food. After a day in Ho Chi Minh City, everyone ate Vietnamese food like bun cha and banh xeo and loved it," Hanbin shared.
Talking about the success of becoming an idol singer, debuting with a Korean group, Hanbin said: "I have succeeded in achieving my dream, but I still want to be more successful, I want to make efforts, constantly train myself to develop more".

Tempest members also expressed their excitement to perform at HOZO 2023. Tempest said they saw the cheering projects (buses, banners...) that Vietnamese audiences prepared to welcome the group. The Korean boys were surprised and happy to feel the warmth that Vietnamese fans gave them.
"When the group was invited to perform in Vietnam - Hanbin's homeland - they were very excited. Unfortunately, on this trip, a member was injured so Tempest did not have the full lineup.
HOZO is a great opportunity for Tempest to perform in front of tens of thousands of locals and tourists. In the future, we hope to return to Vietnam to perform and hold concerts," said member Lee Eui Woong.

Sharing at the exchange, musician Huy Tuan revealed that the process of the Organizing Committee negotiating a contract with the management company Tempest lasted 4 months.
"From the moment I came up with the idea of inviting a Korean group to perform at HOZO 2023, I thought of Tempest. The group has Hanbin, a Vietnamese member who is loved by many young audiences. The Organizing Committee wants to introduce Vietnamese artists, with Vietnamese nationality, who are successful in the world music market.
It took us 4 months to negotiate the contract. The group was very busy, and this was also the first time the group performed in Vietnam, so the management company was very cautious," said musician Huy Tuan.

Ngo Ngoc Hung was born in 1998 in Yen Bai, graduated from the International Faculty, majoring in marketing, Hanoi University of Commerce.
Before working in Korea, he was known as a dancer, participating in many Kpop dance cover competitions.
In 2020, Hanbin attracted attention when he participated in the reality show I-Land of Big Hit Entertainment - the management company of BTS.
Debuting in February 2022 in the lineup of Tempest, Hanbin holds the position of sub-vocalist and sub-dancer. He is considered the most successful Vietnamese singer in the Kpop market, receiving love from Vietnamese fans and fans in many Asian countries.
At HOZO 2023, Tempest is the main artist in the music night held on the evening of December 23 at the stage on Le Loi Street (District 1).
