Responding to this content, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that the new land price list has been submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City Land Price List Appraisal Council. On the morning of October 14, the Council met and assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete it for signing and promulgation. It is expected that the land price list will be issued no later than October 20 to serve the year 2025.
Previously, at the end of September, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee had a document reporting to the City People's Council regarding the amendment and supplementation of Decision 02/2020 of the City People's Committee regulating the land price list in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, through studying the provisions of the 2024 Land Law and reviewing the actual situation of land prices in Ho Chi Minh City, the results show that there are three problems with the land price list according to Decision 02/2020. Specifically, the problem related to the land price framework and the backwardness of land prices in the land price list issued under Decision 02/2020; the problem of lack of approved resettlement land prices; the problem related to the land price adjustment coefficient.
From there, the City People's Committee believes that the need to adjust the land price list in Ho Chi Minh City is necessary. Also according to this report, on September 30, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment completed the Submission to submit to the City Land Price List Appraisal Council.
Before October 10, the City Land Price Appraisal Council will hold an appraisal meeting. After that, the City People's Committee will issue a Decision to amend and supplement Decision No. 02/2020 before October 15.
