Not Apple or Samsung, a Chinese phone company has just launched the world's thinnest phone, with an impressive thickness of only 5.75mm at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.
While Samsung hinted that the Galaxy S25 Edge - its thinnest phone ever - could be launched next April, Apple is also expected to announce the iPhone 17 Air - its thinnest iPhone ever - later this year.
Recently at MWC 2025, Tecno - a phone brand from China - introduced Spark Slim, a super-thin smartphone concept but with a "huge" battery capacity.

Despite its ultra-thin design, the Spark Slim is still equipped with a battery with a capacity of up to 5,200mAh, supporting 45W charging capacity. This battery is even larger than many high-end smartphones currently on the market.
The ultra-slim smartphone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The company claims the display can reach a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits.

Currently, Spark Slim is still at the prototype stage and Tecno has not announced when this super thin smartphone will be released to the market.
