Young people's way
The location of Dong Trau Revolutionary Historical Relic Site (Tra Giang Commune, Bac Tra My) was chosen by the Young Party Members Club of Tra My Town to organize activities in the fourth quarter, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of Tra My Party Committee (October 28, 1949 - October 28, 2024).
However, due to unfavorable weather, the club held meetings at the town People's Committee Hall. Established in early May 2024 with 30 members, the club regularly holds meetings every quarter, according to its operating regulations.
In addition to the designed "hardware", such as information on current events of the province and locality; exchanging awareness, skills to spread positive information, operations to fight against the wrong views of hostile forces in cyberspace, the content of the activities also incorporates small games to learn about the history of the Party...
Young Party member Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong shared: “After participating in the Club, I have matured in awareness, become more aware of my responsibility in behaving and participating in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace.
Up to now, I have been proficient in using applications to participate in the fight by reporting violations against articles containing false, malicious, and distorted information on social networks.
Gathering young party members who are active in branches under the Tra My Town Party Committee and operating according to Regulation 213, the key task that each club member perceives is to effectively participate in the fight against and control the sharing of false and malicious information by hostile forces on cyberspace; actively spreading positive information on the Facebook page "Tra My Town Youth".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang My - Secretary of Tra My Town Youth Union, Head of the Club said that through the activities, the pioneering and exemplary role of young party members in participating in party activities and improving the quality of party cell activities has gradually been promoted.
"Up to now, the Club has discovered and introduced 10 outstanding members for the Party to train and has admitted 4 comrades," said Ms. My.
In Dien Ban, with the way of young people, members of the town's Young Theory Club chose a digital platform to serve the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation.
As a member of the Club and Secretary of the Dien Tho Commune Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cong actively coordinated with the organization to train youth union members at affiliated branches in knowledge about protecting the Party's ideological foundation and how to distinguish between official and unofficial information on social networks.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cong shared: “In the face of negative information, opposing the Party and the State on cyberspace, after receiving instructions from superiors, the Commune Youth Union requested the Youth Union branches to organize for members to carry out combat operations at a certain time and time frame.
“The commune union regularly organizes thematic activities and seminars, such as “Steadfastly following the Party”, “Following the footsteps of our fathers and brothers”, “Aspiration to contribute - The way of life of youth”... to widely propagate the policies of the Party and State to the youth union members, spreading positive energy” - Mr. Cong said.
Promote core force
One after another, Young Theory and Young Party Member Clubs were established, gathering union cadres and young union members who are capable of researching and exchanging on theory and politics to contribute the youth's efforts and enthusiasm to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in cyberspace.
Mr. Dinh Quang Vinh - Secretary of the Town Youth Union, Chairman of the Dien Ban Town Youth Theory Club said that, established in March 2018, the Club has organized 25 quarterly regular activities and 5 thematic activities, such as "Youth with steadfast faith in the Party", "The role and responsibility of youth in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views"...
In each activity, members and key grassroots union cadres identify the current situation in social life that is closely related to young people in order to propose appropriate forms of political and ideological education.
At the same time, regularly guide propagandists and union officials to identify toxic information flows and wrong views of hostile forces in cyberspace.
“In recent times, the struggle activities have been carried out continuously and promptly, contributing to bringing positive results in implementing Resolution No. 35 of the Politburo. Continue to propagate to raise awareness and the role of young people - soldiers in cyberspace - about the meaning and necessity of the struggle to refute wrong and hostile viewpoints in the current period" - Mr. Vinh said.
Quang Nam province has more than 288 thousand young people, accounting for approximately 1/5 of the province's population, of which more than 90% of young people regularly use cyberspace platforms to receive and share information every day and every hour.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh - Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union said that in order to proactively participate in the fronts of the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation, the Provincial Youth Union has established Steering Committee 35, built the fanpage "Quang Nam Youth" and directed the construction of the fanpage system of the Youth Union from the province to the grassroots level; creating a smooth information connection to serve the propaganda work and orient public opinion among young people.
At the same time, the team of social opinion collaborators and 25 Young Theory Clubs established by the Youth Union at all levels in 2019 have maintained effective operations, grasped ideological developments and oriented social opinion of young people.
The propaganda and dissemination of positive and official information has been effectively promoted in conjunction with the campaign "One good news every day - one beautiful story every week" on social networks. Each month, the Provincial Youth Union website has nearly 300,000 views; the fanpage "Tuoi Tre Quang Nam" has nearly 25,000 followers, more than 200,000 views/month, and more than 50,000 interactions with articles.
“Up to now, the column “Protecting the Party's ideological foundation” on the Provincial Youth Union website has published more than 500 articles and attracted nearly 3 million visits/year.
Quang Nam youth always set an example and take the lead, constantly cultivating their knowledge and scientific abilities with the motto "correct perception, sufficient information, quick action, strong connection, wide spread" to continue to participate and contribute effectively to the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation" - Ms. Thanh shared.

To build a generation of young people who are both "red" and "professional", Thang Binh always focuses on educating the young generation in revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle, considering this a strategic, long-term, and important task.
Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Party committees at all levels, authorities, socio-political organizations and youth unions at all levels in the district have focused on researching, exploring and creating many solutions in the work of political and ideological education, ethics and lifestyle for young union members.
Major policies and guidelines of the Party and State are flexibly implemented through competitions, dramatization, forums, traditional talks, and exchanges between generations...
The Youth Clubs with Steel Spirit and the Young Theory Club were established and maintained regular activities to educate young union members to raise their revolutionary vigilance, guide them to express their opinions, refute the wrong views of hostile forces, and contribute to protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
