Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a representative of Central Construction Joint Stock Company said that this contractor has continuously won bids for real estate and infrastructure projects.
Specifically, the contractor Central recently received a letter of notification of winning the bid for the Sun Symphony Residence project (Tower B1.1.) in Da Nang. According to Central, in addition to the underground construction, the investor Sun Group continues to choose this contractor to construct the structure and complete the body of the project.
In the infrastructure sector, Central won the bid to build the Phan Thiet – Dau Giay rest stop project of the investor FUTA Group. In the real estate sector in the South, Central has cooperated with Phat Dat Group to start the construction of the Thuan An 1 high-rise complex project in Binh Duong with a scale of 3 basements, 2 podium floors and 36 floors.
In addition, this enterprise won the bid to design and construct 17 branch offices in many localities of a large bank.
Meanwhile, Mr. Le Viet Hai - Chairman of Hoa Binh Construction Group - said that this enterprise has just won the bid for the Newtown Diamond project with a value of nearly 1,000 billion VND in Da Nang.
Hoa Binh Group will take on the role of main contractor in the construction of the body structure for three 38-storey towers and 6-storey podium of the Newtown Diamond high-end commercial and sports urban area project.
Previously, Hoa Binh had surpassed many competitors to win the bid for the Eaton Park project worth VND1,900 billion invested by Gamuda Land Group in Thu Duc City (HCMC).
Mr. Hai said that continuously winning bids for large projects not only affirms the company's competitiveness but also demonstrates the investors' trust in the contractor's quality and reputation.
Unicons Construction Investment Company Limited, a member of Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, has just won a contract to build and ensure the quality of the CaraWorld Seaside Urban Area project in Khanh Hoa province. This is a real estate project with a total announced investment of 2.06 billion USD (equivalent to 46,371 billion VND).

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , the leader of a construction contractor said that the period of cash flow congestion in late 2022 and early 2023 had put many contractors on the brink of bankruptcy. According to this person, after the difficult period, contractors were forced to "pivot" to find output from other segments, focusing on industrial real estate projects, infrastructure, public investment, etc.
“Although the number of projects for contractors to participate in is not as high as expected, the positive signal is that investors are gradually restarting projects and developing new projects. If many projects with legal problems are resolved and investors start implementing them, the opportunity for contractors will be huge and the difficult period will officially end and we will return to the race with billion-dollar projects,” he said.
