Welcoming tourists to "escape the heat"
Historical and cultural relic sites and coastal tourist areas in Nghe An have been operating since the beginning of the tourist season, always aiming to serve the needs of tourists in the best way. Notably, the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan) in late April welcomed an average of thousands of visitors per day.
It is estimated that in April, Kim Lien National Special Relic Site welcomed about 5,200 groups with a total of nearly 139,000 visitors. It is expected that during the holidays, the number of visitors will increase dramatically. The Relic Site Management Board has developed a plan and mobilized human resources to welcome and serve visitors.
The holiday weather is forecast to be extremely hot, so Cua Lo town and coastal tourist areas will welcome a large number of tourists. The tourist season in Cua Lo coastal town has been open for a week, and accommodation facilities and restaurants here are always ready to serve tourists.
According to information from the town's Department of Culture and Information, up to now, hotels from 3 stars and above have basically been fully booked, while the remaining accommodation establishments have booked 50-60% of their rooms. Due to its early opening, Cua Lo beach resort has always been proactive in meeting the needs of tourists for sightseeing and relaxation.
Besides Cua Lo town, tourist areas in Nghi Loc, Dien Chau and Hoang Mai town have also been cleaned up, landscaped, upgraded facilities and prepared ingredients to process specialty dishes. Restaurants and hotels here have prepared everything to welcome and serve the needs of tourists for relaxation, dining and entertainment.
Along with beach and eco-tourism areas in the delta, tourist destinations in the West are also making efforts to prepare to welcome and serve tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
On hot days, the 7-storey waterfall complex and Muong Dan community tourism site, Hanh Dich commune (Que Phong) are chosen by many tourists to "escape the heat". Because there is a beautiful waterfall here, located in the middle of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, the air is cool, pleasant, and there are also attractive dishes.
In recent days, local authorities have directed people to clean up the village, clear and reinforce the road down to the 7-storey waterfall area, build check-in points and signposts to serve a large number of tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
Mr. Lu Thanh Long - owner of Lam Khang Homestay said: "It is expected that many tourists will come to Muong Dan on April 30 and May 1. We have prepared the resting place, rooms and ingredients to prepare special dishes, and practiced the performances. We ensure that when coming here, tourists can enjoy the cool air, bathe in the waterfall, admire the beautiful scenery, enjoy the taste of the mountains and forests and experience the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic community."
Promise to meet the needs of tourists
For many years, tourist attractions in Con Cuong have welcomed a large number of visitors during the holidays. This is a region of green mountains and blue water, with Pu Mat National Park with scenic spots such as Giang River - Pha Lai Dam, Khe Kem Waterfall, Ta Bo Stream; and community tourism spots in Nua Village, Xieng Village and Khe Ran.
According to Ms. Vi Thi Tham - Director of Pha Lai Eco-tourism Area: Normally, during the holidays of April 30 and May 1, visitors to Pha Lai are very crowded, because there are beautiful landscapes and many delicious dishes. This year, organizing cruises on the Giang River is facing procedural problems, so the unit focuses on developing culinary services and homestays in Xieng village (Mon Son).
Up to now, the restaurant has prepared enough food and arranged staff to serve tourists throughout the holiday. Homestays in Xieng village have also prepared facilities and practiced cultural and artistic exchange programs so that tourists can have a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
Mr. Phan Anh Tai - Head of the Department of Culture of Con Cuong district said: "The district has directed tourist attractions in the area to renovate the campus, upgrade facilities, purchase amenities, and practice performing arts to meet the needs of tourists. The basic preparation work has been completed, all aimed at the goal of serving tourists in the best way".
In Tuong Duong district, Tam Dinh cajuput forest is considered a “highlight”, local authorities have mobilized forces to clean up the environment, renovate check-in points to serve tourists. At the same time, they have installed a system of boards and signs to promote local tourism potential, creating attraction for tourists to continue their journey of discovery.
In the area, there are also many cool streams and beautiful landscapes, which have been built into eco-tourism spots such as Nam Xan (Tam Quang), Khe Co (Tam Dinh), Hoi Nguyen (Yen Thang) and Nam Khien (Luu Kien) attracting a large number of people and tourists to experience. To ensure safety, the district has directed the clearing of trees along the route, cleaning and unblocking the flow, ready to serve tourists.
During the holidays, the tea island in Thanh Chuong district promises to be an attractive destination for tourists. The tea island area currently has about 30 boats providing tourist transport services. The boat docks and roads leading to the tea islands have been decorated by the locals with national flags, signs, and colorful slogans, creating an exciting atmosphere for tourists when they come to visit.
Households around the tea island have invested in and renovated restaurants, prepared good food sources, and regional specialties to serve tourists.
Thus, localities and tourist areas in Western Nghe An have prepared human resources, facilities and services to ensure the best service for tourists during the holiday.
