We visited Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company (Tan Minh Industrial Park, Vu Thu District) in the early days of the Giap Thin Spring. Taking us to visit the production line of the new factory with an investment of more than 400 billion VND, Ms. Phan Thi Cham shared: 2024 is the year marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company and more than 30 years of starting a business from the family's traditional confectionery business. Looking back on the past journey, we see that we have overcome many ups and downs and also achieved encouraging results.

Since the 90s of the last century, many people in Vu Thu have known the Bao Cham brand for products such as peanut candy, sesame candy, stuffed candy, moon cakes, traditional baked cakes, and confectionery distributors for agents throughout the province. Thanks to its reputable business, more and more customers have come to cooperate with Bao Cham and it has expanded to the northern provinces and cities. This is the important factor that made Ms. Phan Thi Cham think and determined to become a large-scale confectionery manufacturer. In 2004, she decided to establish Bao Hung Confectionery Production, Trading, Import-Export Company Limited and invested in building a high-tech factory with an area of nearly 10 hectares in Tan Minh Industrial Park. In 2019, the enterprise changed its name to Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company, marking a transformation not only in organizational structure, form, and scale of the enterprise but also in innovation in development thinking from dominating the domestic market to conquering foreign markets.

Talking about the development journey of the Company, Ms. Phan Thi Cham confided: Bao Hung's path has not been easy. People say "the business world is like a battlefield" is very true. Bao Hung has gone through many obstacles, even stumbled and thought it would be difficult to stand up because of the fierce competition of the market. However, those difficulties have given me more experience and determination to rise up. Bao Hung always determines to take product quality as the top priority combined with reasonable prices, actively promote and promote trade to develop the consumer market as the formula for success. Therefore, over the past 20 years, we have deeply researched product processing formulas, invested in the most advanced production lines in Europe. Up to now, the Company has launched nearly 200 products with many types of cakes such as: Pie, crackers, cookies, custards, hard candies, soft candies, jellies of all kinds, moon cakes. The products are available in all provinces and cities nationwide and exported to nearly 30 countries and territories around the world, including large and demanding markets such as the US, Korea, Taiwan, etc.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, factory manager, said: Ms. Phan Thi Cham has many innovations, including the idea of researching and developing new lines of cakes based on the family's traditional cake-making recipes and methods and using some agricultural products such as potatoes, taro, squash, cinnamon, coconut, etc. to process into high-end cakes. That new way of doing things not only brings production and business efficiency to the Company but also helps farmers consume and increase the value of agricultural products. Ms. Cham is not only an example of inspiring creative labor but also always spends time to be close to, help, and create a favorable working environment for workers to achieve high labor productivity and increase income.

From a small business, under the leadership of Ms. Phan Thi Cham, Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company has now become the leading enterprise of the province, one of the largest confectionery manufacturers in the country, with products with the Omeli brand identity voted as a national brand. The Company's revenue has continuously achieved high growth: in 2021 it reached 561 billion VND, in 2022 it reached 700 billion VND and in 2023 it reached nearly 1,000 billion VND.

Not only is she good at production and business, Ms. Phan Thi Cham is also compassionate. Every year, Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company actively participates in charity activities such as supporting funds for the poor at all levels, helping poor students go to school, and sponsoring the disabled and orphans with a value of hundreds of millions of VND.
