In short, the exam only includes the theme of war. In addition, you can study more works in case of "overwhelming": Kitchen Fire, Fishing Boats, Quiet Sapa, Small Spring ...".

Maybe the question will be open-ended like optimism, faith, experience. So that you can freely create, and also reduce the part of being 'pressed by the cabinet'. As for me, I think you should stop guessing questions... I think you should still study everything."
Teachers advise students not to "guess the exam questions"
Mr. Vo Kim Bao, head of the literature group at Nguyen Du Secondary School (District 1), noted that the way Ho Chi Minh City has created exam questions for many years has been open-minded, students cannot "guess the questions" and should not believe in predictions on social networks.
According to Mr. Bao, the exam questions will not be based on the work but on the topic. Students are allowed to choose any work or any small idea in the work that is appropriate, correct, and true to the topic to analyze and discuss. "Therefore, if students still memorize, predict the topic, and guess the topic by eliminating the works that have been published in the annual entrance exam, they will not be able to do the exam. It is important that students have the skills to do the test, systematize the key content of the work, and the topic of the work to be able to do the entrance exam," said Mr. Bao.
When instructing students in Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the entrance exam in literature, Master Tran Tien Thanh, a specialist in charge of this subject at the Department of Education and Training, also noted that "guessing the exam questions" is a very harmful thing in the review process. "Many students think that last year's exam questions were about this work or that problem, so this year they won't be. However, the Department of Education and Training has emphasized that the content of the 10th grade entrance exam questions is within the secondary school curriculum, mainly the 9th grade curriculum. Therefore, the questions can be from any work, in some aspect. The orientation of this year's entrance exam questions for literature will be highly "open". Students need to focus on practicing skills and accumulating knowledge to best fulfill the requirements of the questions," Master Thanh shared.
In addition, Ms. Pham Thanh Xuan, a teacher at Le Quy Don Secondary School (District 3), also said that the 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City requires candidates to do it themselves, develop it according to their understanding, thinking, and writing abilities. Therefore, if students still rely on sample essays or luck in guessing the questions, they will not be able to do well on the test.
According to Ms. Xuan, during this period, students are racing to review for the exam, so they cannot rely on luck but should review lectures, outlines and rewrite the main ideas to remember the knowledge longer. In addition, Ms. Thanh Xuan noted that the exam questions are strung together from reading comprehension, social commentary, and literary commentary. Therefore, students must have the skills to analyze and make inferences from the questions.
