This year's Po Nagar Tower Festival takes place from April 17 to 20 (ie from March 20 to 23 of the lunar calendar) with the following rituals: Water procession ceremony; bathing ceremony; palanquin procession; memorial service; flower lantern release ceremony, national peace and prosperity ceremony, incense offering ceremony, food offering ceremony, peace praying ceremony of the Cham community; traditional worshiping and sacrificial ceremonies... Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee highlighted the value, significance and importance of the Po Nagar Tower Festival to the people of Khanh Hoa province, as well as other provinces and cities in the country. In order for the festival and the special national relic Po Nagar Tower to increasingly promote its value, all levels, sectors, local authorities and all people need to continue to preserve and promote the value of the relic, associated with sustainable tourism development, making Po Nagar Tower an attractive cultural and spiritual destination; the organization of the festival must ensure safety, civilization, preserve traditional identity, avoid commercialization and superstition; promote the promotion and introduction of heritage, create favorable conditions for tourists and people to participate in the festival, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

The traditional Po Nagar Tower Festival is held annually to praise and commemorate the merits of the goddess Po Nagar - Mother of the Cham people, also the Holy Mother Thien YA Na of the Vietnamese people, to pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, a peaceful life, warmth and happiness. In 2012, the Po Nagar Tower Festival was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.

This year's Po Nagar Tower Festival has more than 100 groups practicing Mother Goddess worship registered with the Organizing Committee. In addition, there are also tens of thousands of people and tourists attending the Po Nagar Tower Special National Monument during the festival.
