The Minister of Industry and Trade said that on the afternoon of February 28, he, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai and the Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel had a working session with all leaders of relevant units to thoroughly grasp the Central's direction on the arrangement of organizational structure, personnel, and mechanisms to resolve issues related to benefits and regimes.
On March 1, the Minister and the Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel also took time to meet and contact the leaders of the units subject to the arrangement, and today, March 3, the Standing Committee will meet to complete the positions.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien shared that everything happened very quickly, so in the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time", we still had to comply with the principles and regulations of the competent authority.
During the process of reorganization, the Ministry's leadership and the Party Committee's Standing Committee clearly stated that not only those in the merged and dissolved units but also all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire industry need to study, thoroughly understand and seriously and voluntarily implement the policies, mechanisms and strategies of the superiors and strictly comply with the decisions of the competent authorities.
Notably, the Minister of Industry and Trade directed 5 tasks to be done immediately. Firstly, all units under the Ministry, especially unit leaders, need to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Resolution 18, directives and instructions of the Central Government and Decree 40 of the Government as well as the Minister's Decisions on the functions, powers and organizational structure of units under the Ministry.
Second, the merging units need to promptly hand over facilities, documents, and assets; avoid loss, waste, and negativity.
Third, units focus on reviewing and adjusting their programs and work plans.
Fourth, along with perfecting the organizational structure according to Decree 40 and the Ministry's decision, all units must review to perfect the Party organization in sync with the organizational structure.
Fifth, focus on doing a good job of ideological work for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
"In terms of will, reason, and science, this is clearly a "transformation". In the future, the apparatus in our system in general, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade and each unit of the Ministry, when changing in this positive direction, will certainly be better" - the Minister of Industry and Trade emphasized.
