(NLDO) - Ms. Bui Thi Huyen, during two consecutive Tet shifts at Noi Bai airport, discovered valuable abandoned property.
Information from Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi City) said that Ms. Bui Thi Huyen, a trolley team member of Noi Bai Terminal Operation Center, discovered valuable abandoned property in the public area of Passenger Terminal T1 during two consecutive shifts during Tet.
At 00:20 on January 28 (29th of Lunar New Year), she discovered a forgotten bag containing a lot of jewelry: 10 gold metal rings, 2 gold metal bracelets, 3 necklaces, earrings and more than 3.5 million VND left on a trolley in Hall A, Passenger Terminal T1.
On the afternoon of January 30 (the second day of Tet), she discovered a forgotten bag containing cash of various denominations totaling nearly 50 million VND.
She quickly coordinated with the Mobile Security force to hand over the property according to regulations. When asked to take a souvenir photo with the owner of the forgotten property, Ms. Huyen quickly asked permission to take the photo to return to her position to ensure work.
For many years, the name Bui Thi Huyen has been associated with dozens of cases of discovering abandoned assets worth billions of dong. She has also been honored many times by the Vietnam Airports Corporation and Noi Bai Port.
With her honesty, straightforwardness, responsible working spirit, sincere and cheerful attitude, Ms. Huyen is loved by many colleagues and given the title "golden girl in the village of discovering abandoned assets".
