Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien has just signed an urgent dispatch on implementing the Conclusion of the Central Steering Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 18, streamlining the organization of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has a policy to report to the competent authority for consideration and decision on ending the activities of the Party Executive Committee and the Office of the Party Executive Committee. At the same time, establish the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade directly under the Government Party Committee and consolidate the organizations under the Party Committee.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also ended the model of a General Department under the Ministry for the General Department of Market Management and studied and proposed to arrange the General Department of Market Management according to a new model; at the same time, reviewed and arranged the organizational model of the Ministry's units towards streamlining the internal apparatus for effective and efficient operation.

On that basis, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requests that units urgently summarize and report on the implementation of Resolution No. 18, evaluate the operations and the necessity of maintaining the organization of the unit, and on that basis propose whether or not to continue maintaining the unit.

In case of proposing to continue maintaining the unit, the Ministry recommends proposing a plan to arrange the internal organizational model towards streamlining, effective and efficient operations.

In case the evaluation unit does not need to maintain, please propose a plan for rearrangement and reorganization.

The Minister of Industry and Trade requested research units to comment on the draft Summary Report of the Party Executive Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 18 and send the report to the Ministry before December 8.
