Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence ABAII: The Key to Success in the Digital Age

NDO - On March 18, in Da Nang, the Institute of Blockchain Technology and Artificial Intelligence ABAII, the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA), and the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU) under the University of Da Nang jointly organized the Seminar: "Blockchain and AI: Future Technology in the Digital Age".

The program attracted more than 500 students and lecturers from the Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications to participate in both in-person and online formats, aiming to update technology knowledge and career orientation for the young generation in the face of the increasingly strong development trend of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tran The Son, Vice President of Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, emphasized the essential role of accessing new technologies in training programs when Vietnam and the world are entering the digital age, AI and Blockchain platforms are gradually becoming key drivers for the digital transformation process, creating many opportunities and challenges for the job market.

In that context, the school is committed to continuing to cooperate with professional organizations to help students fully equip themselves with skills, ready to catch up with global technology trends. At the same time, the school's lecturers and students have more conditions to supplement and update their technological knowledge, and orient their careers in the increasingly strong development trend of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).

The discussion session with the topic: "Blockchain and AI Applications - The Key to Success in the Digital Age" raised many issues for VKU students.

At the program, Dr. Vo Cong Khoi, Chief of Office of Vietnam Blockchain Association in Da Nang, provided an in-depth look at Generative AI, a technology that is strongly impacting many fields such as content creation, product design and scientific research.

Dr. Vo Cong Khoi cited recent statistics from Microsoft, stating that 66% of businesses worldwide will not hire candidates lacking AI skills. This figure shows that AI is not just an option, but has become a mandatory requirement to maintain competitiveness in the future labor market.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Director of Digital Transformation at ABAII Institute, shared about the great potential of blockchain in many fields. Citing a report from Standard Chartered, by 2034, the global crypto-asset market could reach more than 30,000 billion USD, accounting for about 16% of total commercial financial assets.

With its decentralization, transparency and high security, blockchain not only brings breakthrough solutions in finance, but also expands to supply chain, healthcare, education and many other industries. This also clearly demonstrates the importance of self-learning spirit, encouraging students to take advantage of online platforms like MasterTeck to keep up with the development trend of technology.

Regarding technology trends, Mr. Vu Van Quyet, Chairman of Locamos Joint Stock Company, gave a practical perspective on startups in the field of AI and Blockchain. Mr. Vu Van Quyet emphasized that the development of technology not only opens up investment opportunities, but also creates challenges that require startups to have a long-term vision and the ability to adapt quickly.

Therefore, high-tech startups are an inevitable trend as businesses increasingly apply AI and Blockchain to their business models. He cited the fact that many technology startups have attracted significant investment capital from large funds, thanks to their breakthroughs and ability to scale quickly.

In addition, the role of innovative thinking and perseverance in realizing ideas also becomes a core foundation, because many startups have to go through many trials and strategic adjustments before finding the optimal operating model. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage students to proactively grasp trends, hone their skills and accumulate practical experience right from their university days to be ready for their future startup journey.

Regarding the impact of AI and Blockchain on the labor market, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu, Senior Manager, Rainscale Company Limited, commented that many traditional jobs are at risk of being replaced when new technologies become popular. However, he also said that this is accompanied by the emergence of many new professions, opening up countless opportunities for those who proactively adapt. Mr. Tu said: "In a highly competitive labor market, those who prepare digital skills, critical thinking ability and continuous learning spirit will have a great advantage."

Within the framework of the program, Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, said that the school has integrated Blockchain and AI subjects into the official training program very early. Students are encouraged to participate in practical projects and cooperate with large technology enterprises to accumulate experience and improve competitiveness.

Speakers discussed with leaders of Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications about cooperation opportunities in the field of training.

From a business perspective, Ms. Le Thi Ha Linh, Business Director of LIFE AI Vietnam, commented that AI and blockchain are becoming fundamental technologies in many industries. At the same time, cooperation between schools and businesses will be an important factor in training high-quality human resources to meet the needs of the labor market.

In the context of Vietnam aiming to become the leading country in the region in Blockchain by 2030, equipping the young generation with AI and blockchain skills right from university will be an important provision. Therefore, the seminar program has provided students of the Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, Da Nang with updated knowledge and motivated them to enter the digital age, where creativity and technology are considered the keys to open the door to the future.
